TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HOME2 MOBILE APPLICATION

Welcome to Home2, a tenant management mobile application ("App", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your use of our mobile application and services, which provide tools for managing premises, rooms, tenants, bills, and rental operations.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Home2 application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the App.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
1.1 Eligibility
To use the Home2 App, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Reside in India or any other jurisdiction where the service is available
- Use the App in compliance with applicable laws
1.2 Account Registration
- You must register for an account using either email/password or Google authentication
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are solely responsible for all activities occurring under your account
- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Home2 is a property management application that enables users (property owners/landlords) to:
- Manage premises and properties
- Add and manage rooms within premises
- Track tenant information and history
- Generate bills and invoices
- Monitor payment statuses
- Access analytics and insights (based on subscription tier)
- Generate and scan QR codes for property access (Pro tier feature)
- Track expenses and revenue
3. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT TERMS
3.1 Subscription Tiers
The App offers multiple subscription tiers with varying features and limitations:
Free Tier:
- 1 Premise
- Up to 3 Rooms
- 3 Tenants
- Basic bill generation
- Limited analytics
Basic Tier (₹99/month or ₹999/year):
- 3 Premises
- Up to 20 Rooms
- 20 Tenants
- Bill generation + expense tracking
- Export reports
- Basic analytics
Pro Tier (₹299/month or ₹2999/year):
- 10 Premises
- Up to 100 Rooms
- 100 Tenants
- Auto bill generation
- Payment tracking
- Dashboard insights
- QR-based deep navigation
- Priority support
3.2 Payment Processing
- Payments are processed through Google Play Billing
- Subscription renewals are handled automatically for recurring plans
- One-time purchases extend your subscription duration
- Tax may be added based on your location
- All sales are final and non-refundable except as required by law
3.3 Subscription Management
- You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account
- Subscription changes take effect according to the billing cycle
- You may purchase additional time at any tier to extend your subscription period
- Downgrading your subscription may result in loss of access to certain features
4. USER CONTENT AND DATA
4.1 Data Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of all data you input into the App
- You retain ownership of your data
- We do not claim ownership of your property management data
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of important information
4.2 Data Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for updating information to keep it accurate. You acknowledge that incorrect data may affect the functionality of the App.
5. PROHIBITED USES AND CONDUCT
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Use the App to store or manage illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the App's source code
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Ownership
The Home2 App, including its software, design, content, and features, is protected by intellectual property laws and is owned by the App developer. All rights not expressly granted to you herein are reserved by the developer.
6.2 License
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Home2 App for your personal or business property management needs.
7. DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to data collection and use practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO THE DEVELOPER IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.
9. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE FROM ERRORS OR VIRUSES.
10. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App.
11. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
